She sustainable development specialist and social scientist with 11 years’ experience in research, grant writing, program management and business development in the agriculture, fisheries and renewable energy sectors. I have experience in using demand-driven and participatory approaches to engage various actors in the aforementioned sectors for research and project implementation. Her experience has been instrumental in designing, coordinating, and implementing impact-driven projects by donors such as the European Union, USAID and King Baudouin Foundation.
Her lifelong mission to contribute to the creation of sustainable systems and structures that will empower communities and individuals to thrive. Her passion for humanity and the planet started at a young age when she joined a youth advocacy group focused on evidence-based advocacy interventions and training on critical development issues including human rights issues, child labor and maternal reproductive health. This experience exposed her to the power of multi-stakeholder partnerships and the voices of youth and children to drive change. It fueled her passion and led me to pursue further studies in sustainable development, wellbeing and public policy.
